Dear Parents and Guardians:
Welcome to Camelback Holistic Preschool. Thank you for entrusting us with the care and education of your child. We take this role and responsibility very seriously and consider it a blessing to have this opportunity. We believe that every child is a unique and special gift and our goal is to provide a warm and caring environment that expresses joy and love as we provide a safe and nurturing atmosphere on a daily basis.
As the demands and complexities of teaching children increase, it becomes more evident that we all need to work together to ensure that our children reach their potential. We believe that all of us – the preschool and the community – must work together in an extended family environment to guarantee success for all of our students. We believe in working together to empower children with the creative, intellectual, and decision-making skills necessary for them to become academically, socially, physically, and emotionally successful.
Camelback Holistic Preschool promises to partner with you to promote the growth and development of your child. We are committed to providing dedicated, trained, and qualified staff members who are devoted to the care and well-being of the children and families we serve, so that we can maintain our exceptionally high standards of care for your child.
At Camelback Holistic Preschool we believe in providing an excellent and engaging early childhood education experience. Our curriculum is built on the belief that children will excel when given the opportunity to explore and create within their classroom environment. Our flexible, creative, and child-centered curriculum is designed to meet the needs of all children in the classroom.

Emma Asmaryan Fominaya M.Ed. is the founder and director of Camelback Holistic Preschool. She has taught at various schools in Washington D.C. and Arizona. Her passion is helping young minds develop a foundation for lifelong learning. Emma’s background includes dual Masters degrees in Child Psychology from Yerevan Pedagogical University and Early Childhood Education from Ottawa University. Guided by 10 years of teaching experience as a “Highly Effective Teacher”, the curriculum your child will experience will take advantage of this period of dramatic cognitive growth and guide them to their social, emotional, academic, and physical future.
